Citect SCADA supports two different software licensing models:
In the realm of online streaming, TEATV has emerged as a popular platform for accessing a wide array of TV shows, movies, and live channels. For those who are unfamiliar, TEATV is an application that provides users with an extensive library of content, including TV series, movies, and even live TV channels. One of the key features that enhance the user experience on TEATV is the use of M3U playlists. These playlists are essentially text files that contain URLs of media files, allowing media players to access and stream content seamlessly.
FLEXERA Softkey Licensing
The FLEXERA softkey solution stores license information on a FlexNet Enterprise License Server. The Citect SCADA client process will retrieve licenses from this server as required by the Citect SCADA system. To activate and administer licenses, you use the Floating License Manager (see Activate Licenses Using the Floating License Manager).
In both cases, Citect SCADA uses a Dynamic Point Count to determine if your system is operating within the limitations of your license agreement. This process tallies the number of I/O device addresses being used by the runtime system.
A point limit is allocated to each type of license included in your license agreement. These license types include:

If required, you can specify how many points will be required by a particular computer (see Specify the Required Point Count for a Computer).
Note:
• There is no distinction between a Control Client and an Internet Control Client.
• There is no distinction between a View-Only Client and an Internet View-Only Client.
